Job Description
Work alongside passionate caregivers and make a lasting, meaningful impact on patient care. As a Patient Flow Coordinator, you will work collaboratively to maximize enterprise capacity and support all inpatient placement activities for assigned areas and locations. Ensure patients receive the treatment they need, whether in the Emergency Department, Surgical Unit or other Specialty Department. Manage bed planning section within EPIC to monitor current and future admissions and discharges. Communicate and collaborate with Access Nurses and Nursing Operations Managers. Communicate hospital census information and correct reported census errors. Provide feedback to the supervisors related to process delays. Meet regularly with Transfer Center team members to improve patient flow.
