Job Description
The Assistant Threat Analyst will assist with detecting, tracking, and analyzing extremist, antisemitic, and other hate-driven threats and activities nationwide using a variety of tools and open source intelligence (OSINT) techniques; support the Threat Monitoring Unit in monitoring both mainstream and alternative social media platforms to help develop actionable intelligence for law enforcement and community partners.
They will also help maintain and update internal tools and systems used to identify and track threats across multiple social media platforms as well as contribute to the preparation of written alerts, advisories, and other resources for various external partners and internal audiences; this role will provide research support to analysts, researchers, and embeds across COE teams and participate in training sessions and inter-agency exercises.
This position will entail working outside of regular Monday to Friday working hours, including weekends, responding to crisis situations and adhering to rotational work schedules.
