Role Overview:
- LTS is seeking an experienced Application Packaging Engineer to support enterprise Windows application packaging and deployment for a large federal environment.
- This role owns the full lifecycle of application packaging, from gathering requirements through building, testing, and deploying production-ready packages at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build silent installation packages in MSI, MST, and MSIX formats and validate them through initial installation testing on Windows 11.
- Engage directly with internal customers to gather packaging requirements and translate them into technical documentation and solutions.
- Troubleshoot packaging and deployment issues using ProcMon, MSI verbose logging, and Windows Event Logs.
Qualifications:
- 4–6+ years of hands-on application packaging experience, including extensive use of Flexera AdminStudio.
- Deep familiarity with Windows Installer internals, including MSI tables, custom actions, transforms, and component rules.
- Knowledge of PowerShell and/or CMD scripting is essential.
