Senior Android Engineer - Consumer Growth

Role:

• Build Android experiences that turn initial interest into lasting engagement across acquisition, onboarding, subscription conversion, activation, and retention.
• Partner with Product, Design, Data, Marketing, and backend engineers to ship experiments and evolve successful ideas.

What you’ll be doing:

• Build reusable UI components and application foundations to accelerate experiments.
• Maintain app performance, accessibility, stability, and responsiveness across devices and Android versions.
• Own features through implementation, testing, release, monitoring, and iteration using AI tools.

What you need to have:

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Solid understanding of Android architecture, lifecycle, coroutines, state management, and navigation.
• Experience integrating APIs and handling loading, failure, and interrupted user journeys.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Google Play Billing, subscriptions, RevenueCat, or A/B testing.
• Experience improving conversion, activation, or retention in a consumer app.
• Familiarity with push notifications and lifecycle engagement experiences.
