Accounting Manager

About the Role:

• We're looking for an Accounting Manager to own payroll administration, customer billing support, and payroll tax compliance across the U.S.
• This is a hands-on role suited for someone comfortable managing both internal payroll operations and external customer-facing financial questions.

What You'll Do:

• Administer end-to-end payroll through Rippling, including new hire setup, terminations, pay changes, benefits deductions, and off-cycle payments.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of U.S. federal, state, and local payroll taxes, including registrations, filings, and remittances in new states.
• Respond to customer inquiries related to billing, payments, and subscription upgrades/downgrades, coordinating with Sales and Support as needed.

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, payroll, or a related finance role, ideally with direct ownership of payroll operations.
• Hands-on experience with Rippling payroll and solid working knowledge of U.S. payroll tax at the federal and state level.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced startup environment.
