Job Description
This role is designed for an experienced professional with deep expertise in project finance, credit markets, or energy infrastructure investment. The ideal candidate brings 7–9 years of experience in credit underwriting, financial structuring, or aggregate risk analysis —ideally across energy and infrastructure markets. The Senior Analyst will lead analytical efforts to evaluate credit worthiness, financing structures, and market dynamics across Crux’s database of energy projects and capital market transactions. This position combines quantitative financial analysis with strategic market insight, supporting Crux’s research, analytics products, and investor-facing deliverables. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping how Crux interprets emerging financing trends and communicates those insights to clients, investors, and partners. Data & Database Management involves designing, managing, and overseeing Crux’s database of energy projects, capital markets transactions, and financing structures. Credit & Financial Analysis means strategizing at a high level around trends driving project-level financing, including credit profiles, debt structures, and tax credit transactions. Market Intelligence involves tracking trends in energy project finance, capital markets, and credit activity to inform Crux’s internal strategy and external reporting. Analytical Support includes delivering rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis to support customers, partners, and internal stakeholders, while Cross-Team Collaboration means working with product, research, and customer success teams to ensure data integrity and analytic rigor across outputs.
