Senior Counsel

Role Overview:

• Tyson & Mendes seeks an experienced Senior Counsel with 8+ years of insurance defense experience to join their Philadelphia office.
• This role offers autonomy to run cases with access to seasoned trial attorneys for collaboration.
• The position is remote with flexibility to work where you are most productive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle complex civil defense matters including general liability, commercial motor vehicle, and professional liability.
• Own your matters, develop strategy, take depositions, and prepare cases for trial.
• Communicate directly with clients and carriers to move cases forward.

Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Bar license required; dual admission in PA and NJ strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of litigation experience with independent case management and trial exposure.
• Proficiency in MS Suite and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary $150,000-200,000 annually plus billable hours bonus.
