What you'll do:
- Manage a team of engineers focused on building Machine Learning models to extract information from raw content like Text, Photos and Videos and share that information online and offline.
- Coach and mentor engineers of all experience levels, from new college graduates to senior engineers.
- Participate in the hiring process, helping to find potential candidates, interviewing, and closing new hires.
What it takes to succeed:
- Previous experience as a manager with excellent people management skills and the ability to hire and grow a talented team of engineers.
- Experience building Computer Vision models that can process user submitted images to extract useful information.
- Experience building Natural Language Processing models that can extract information from text content like user reviews.
What you'll get:
The top end of the compensation range for this role exceeds $200,000 annually.
You may also be offered restricted stock units and benefits.
This opportunity has the option to be fully remote in all locations across Canada.
