Global Campus Program Chair - Psychology

Teaching and Student Engagement:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging online instruction in asynchronous courses, prioritizing student learning, achievement, and timely feedback.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for adult learners, ensuring academic integrity and strong communication.
• For doctoral roles, chair dissertations, oversee research projects, and prepare students for oral defenses and IRB applications.

Learning Leadership and Curriculum Development:

• Support a 'quality at scale' online education model by collaborating with instructional designers to develop and improve courses, materials, and teaching practices.
• Lead continuous improvement of curriculum with a focus on relevance, rigor, and accessibility, and mentor associate faculty on instructional quality.
• Collaborate with student support departments to create holistic initiatives that enhance the student experience and sense of connection.

Service and Institutional Contribution:

• Actively participate in department, college, and university meetings, engaging in shared governance activities and committees.
• Support accreditation efforts, participate in hiring committees, and contribute to university-wide student success and improvement initiatives.
• Mentor faculty and staff, balancing teaching, service, and administrative responsibilities in a flexible, evolving work environment.
