Job Description
The Clinical Nurse Documentation Analyst is responsible for reviewing patient records and drafting clinical summaries that accurately reflect the patientβs medical history, treatment plans, and progress. The Analyst will work independently and collaborate with clinical staff to ensure documentation is complete, consistent, and aligned with internal standards. Essential functions include reviewing medical records, drafting summaries, translating complex documentation, collaborating with clinical teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. The analyst must maintain confidentiality and stay current with healthcare regulations.
Additional responsibilities include managing workload independently, attending training, and supporting remediation efforts. The role requires strong analytical skills, deep understanding of medical terminology, and proficiency in EHR systems.
