Operations and Program Professional for Technical and AI Projects in Animal Welfare Science

Core Responsibilities:

• Own day-to-day execution of technical projects, turning strategy into concrete steps and removing blockers.
• Translate scientific models into structured specifications and implementation-ready requirements for technical contributors.
• Recruit, onboard, and supervise freelancers while using AI tools for workflow acceleration and synthesis.

Ideal Profile:

• Must have proven experience managing complex, multi-contributor projects and strong technical comfort with JSON and structured data.
• Strongly preferred background in technical program management, a scientific/quantitative field, or founder-support roles.
• Excellent written English, professional judgment, and the ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments are essential.

Engagement Structure:

• This is a remote, part-time contract role starting at 15–20 hours per week with an initial 8-week paid trial period.
• Compensation is expected in the range of $40–80 per hour based on experience, with potential for longer-term engagement and expanded scope.
• The role is designed for sustainable, high-impact part-time work to free the Innovation Director for strategic leadership.
