Staff Full Stack Engineer

Role Overview:

• This is a Staff Full Stack Engineer position with a focus on backend architecture, acting as the second core member of a founding team for an AI-native advertising platform.
• The engineer will be responsible for building systems involving AI workflows, LLM orchestration, and creative generation pipelines for regulated sportsbooks and casino operators.
• The domain requires handling external API writes to ad platforms where mistakes have real financial and legal repercussions, demanding safe and auditable system design.

Technical Environment:

• The tech stack includes Next.js, React, TypeScript for frontend, and Firebase Cloud Functions, Firestore, and Google Cloud services for backend and data.
• AI components involve using Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, and tools for image and video generation, integrated with platforms like Meta, Snapchat, TikTok, and Apple Ads.
• The role requires experience with production systems using LLMs, media generation APIs, and agentic approaches, along with quality tools like Vitest and Playwright.

Candidate Profile:

• We seek a senior backend engineer who takes full ownership of complex systems end-to-end and thrives in autonomous, fast-paced environments.
• Ideal candidates have a background in ad tech, fintech, or healthcare, with proven experience building auditable and recoverable systems in compliance-sensitive domains.
• Nice-to-have skills include experience with specific ad platform APIs, BigQuery, Slack app integration, or AI workflow orchestration in production settings.

Compensation and Benefits:

• The position offers a contractor agreement with no end date, featuring monthly payments in USD and the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in Latin America.
