About the Role:
- Muon seeks a Senior Security Engineer to protect its satellites, ground systems, and cloud infrastructure.
- You will own security posture across aerospace systems and contribute to compliance efforts.
- This role can be fully on-site, hybrid, or remote from an approved U.S. location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design cybersecurity controls for satellite software, ground systems, and communication links.
- Conduct threat modeling, code reviews, and vulnerability management for mission systems.
- Lead incident response including containment, forensic analysis, and post-incident reporting.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in information security or security engineering.
- Active TS/SCI clearance or eligibility; familiarity with satellite communication protocols.
- Proficiency with AWS cloud security, IAM (Okta), SIEM platforms, and compliance frameworks (NIST 800-171, CMMC).
