Patent Filing Associate (Thai Market)

Welocalize is seeking a Thailand-based patent filing associate firm to support client legal teams in executing jurisdiction-specific patent filing and validation activities. This partnership forms part of a broader multi-country filing program focused on optimizing quality, cost, and compliance in global IP processes. The role involves handling national phase entry and validation of PCT applications in Thailand, collaborating with international legal teams to ensure timely and accurate submissions to the Department of Intellectual Property (DIP), Thailand. The associate will provide local representation and expert insight into DIP procedural and documentation requirements, offering guidance on timelines, formalities, and updates related to Thai patent prosecution and filings. Furthermore, the role includes participating in rate discussions and providing transparent pricing (hourly, task-based, or based on official fee structure, as applicable).
