Role Overview:
- Lead technical direction and multi-year roadmap for ads retrieval modeling.
- Design, develop, and launch candidate-generation and retrieval models for ads across Reddit surfaces.
What We're Looking For:
- 7+ years of industry experience building and shipping applied ML products.
- Deep experience with information retrieval, recommender systems, and deep learning models.
- Strong command of experimental design and model evaluation.
Impact & Collaboration:
- Partner with ranking, auction, measurement, and product teams to ensure retrieval models integrate effectively.
- Mentor ML engineers and raise the quality bar for modeling, testing, and production ownership.
