Manages a team of product research analysts. Provides strategic and tactical direction on initiatives for product segments countrywide, both individually and through management of a small team of junior research analysts. Drives implementation of countrywide initiatives, including tailoring product strategy to meet unique state needs. Creates new implementation strategies individually and through influence. Consults on complex business issues and design considerations. Prioritizes among projects to deliver highest level of benefit to the organization and drives expense management. Leads high complexity and long-term projects and analysis. Sponsors projects with team members spanning multiple functional areas. Conducts high complexity analysis and answers advanced business questions. Analyzes trends and is responsible for tactical and strategic recommendations. Creates/leads formal training sessions and modules. Hires, develops, provides coaching to, and makes compensation recommendations for team members. Defines individual performance objectives and development plans, and ensures alignment with department, function, and SBU objectives. Fosters an environment in which continuous improvement methodologies are applied to deliver value to customers.
