Senior IT Endpoint Engineer

The IT Endpoint Engineering team at Thumbtack builds a trusted, secure, and engaging technology experience for Thumbtackers. We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Endpoint Engineer to help harden and scale our client security and compliance practices, and manage our global Mac, ChromeOS, Windows, and Linux environment. As a Senior IT Endpoint Engineer, you will be responsible for creating software packages, deployment, patch management, and encryption in our global Mac, ChromeOS, Windows, and Linux environment. The role involves working with IT Support teams to identify and resolve pain points, collaborating with the Information Security team to mitigate risks, and supporting technical documentation. You'll also drive automation and efficiency through cross-functional collaboration, overseeing inventory, and participating in team member training and mentoring. This position requires 3-5 years of experience managing Mac, ChromeOS, Windows, and Linux machines in an IT organization, with expertise in enterprise management solutions and desktop security.
