Collaborating Physician

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Serve as collaborating physician of record under a written nurse protocol agreement filed with the Georgia Medical Board.
• Provide oversight and clinical consultation for the NP team; no direct patient care.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Co-sign NP clinical notes and charts per the protocol agreement schedule.
• Participate in monthly collaboration meetings to review cases and quality concerns.
• Conduct required periodic chart/record reviews.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active, unrestricted Georgia medical license (MD or DO).
• Principal practice location physically based in Georgia.
• Prior experience with NP/APRN collaborative relationships preferred.

COMPENSATION:

• 1099 independent contractor with a flat fee of $200/hr x 10hr/week.
• Part-time structured around scheduled availability, collaboration meetings, and chart reviews.
