  • Serve as collaborating physician for a nurse practitioner team providing general oncology triage and palliative care services.
  • Co-sign clinical notes, conduct periodic chart reviews, and participate in regular collaboration meetings with NPs.
  • No direct patient care or independent panel required; role is part-time and remote with a flat fee compensation.

  • Evaluate and manage members with urgent symptoms via telemedicine, developing comprehensive care plans and triaging to appropriate care.
  • Develop care plans addressing clinical and non-clinical needs in collaboration with oncology nurses and community health workers.
  • Provide clinical oversight for interdisciplinary case conferences and participate in holiday, night, and weekend emergency coverage as needed.

  • Engage Thyme Care members by phone, text, and email to navigate their cancer journey and identify health and social needs.
  • Connect members to healthcare providers, community resources, and financial grants while assessing urgency and establishing next steps.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a structured, high-volume environment to ensure holistic member support.

$42–$42/hr

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and provide triage, support, and education to cancer patients via phone and email.
  • Collaborate with nurse leaders and medical directors to ensure alignment with clinical protocols and best practices.
  • Establish trusting relationships with members and their care network, prioritizing empathy and active listening in every interaction.

Care Partner

$24–$24/hr

  • Engage Thyme Care members to identify health and social needs, discuss goals, and connect them to resources and support. - Work within a structured phone queue handling inbound and outbound calls in a high-volume, metrics-driven environment. - Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide holistic care coordination and help members navigate their cancer journey.

$140,000–$140,000/yr

  • Provide specialty palliative care outpatient appointments via video visits as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Oversee and direct interdisciplinary case conferences for members with advanced serious illness, creating individualized care plans.
  • Educate the care team on palliative care topics including symptom management, communication, and advance care planning.
