Managed Care Biller

Role Overview:

• Responsible for billing, receivables auditing, and collections for services provided to patients in assigned facilities.
• Ultimately responsible for hitting cash collection goals each month and minimizing the impact of bad debt.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage billing for various Managed Care companies and understand the requirements for each payor.
• Interact with insurance companies to resolve unpaid claims via telephone and written correspondence.
• Ensure a high degree of attention to detail and strong organizational skills in all collection efforts.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of medical billing and collection practices, with 3-5 years of managed care billing experience preferred.
• Claim appeal and resolution expertise, with experience using Point Click Care preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, basic computer literacy, and a high degree of attention to detail.
