Join the Apps API Platform team to redefine design experiences. As a Staff Frontend Engineer, you will be instrumental in shaping Canva’s developer community. Your responsibilities include designing and implementing public APIs, improving app runtime performance, and working cross-functionally with Canva teams. This role requires technical leadership, mentoring other engineers, and advocating for developer needs to maintain architectural integrity.
You will also model initiative and ownership in achieving goals, improving processes and solutions. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of software development experience, ideally with experience in building internal/external SDKs, APIs, libraries, and frameworks. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of computer science fundamentals are essential.
