Senior Structural Engineer (Substation Focus)

Job Responsibilities:

• Act as the structural lead and engineer of record for substations, switchyards, and other electrical infrastructure projects.
• Perform engineering calculations and develop analytical models for structural steel and concrete design.
• Coordinate with civil/structural design team to direct completion of engineering drawings and develop group standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related field plus 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in structural design for overhead and underground transmission and distribution systems, including substation projects.
• Professional Engineering Licensure (PE) required.

Preferred Experience:

• 10 years of experience with at least 3 years as structural engineering lead/engineer of record.
• Proficiency in PLS-CADD packages and structural analysis software (e.g., Staad.PRO, SAP2000).
• Experience with full EPC, Design/Build projects and various voltage levels.
