About the job:
- Developer-customers are key to Twilio’s success; the Developer Interfaces team builds tools that enable developers to use Twilio’s platform via cloud APIs.
- The team operates in multiple coding languages simultaneously and releases products in the Open Source community.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, high-availability cloud infrastructure for Twilio’s microservices.
- Operate and maintain highly available services handling billions of weekly requests.
- Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and build CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years backend engineering experience in object-oriented languages, preferably Python or Java.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, SLO tracking, and production systems.
- Exposure to service-oriented architectures, microservices, or REST APIs.
