Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design, development, and delivery of releasable, high-quality backend services and APIs primarily using Go (Golang).
- Author backend code aligned with internal standards and architectural guidance to ensure maintainability and scalability.
- Design, build, and evolve APIs and service integrations that consume and process data from internal and external platforms.
Technical Environment:
- Architect and maintain scalable services for Kubernetes environments, ensuring cloud-native best practices.
- Utilize GCP services like Pub/Sub and BigQuery, and have experience with RESTful or event-driven APIs.
- Develop, maintain, and update automated tests for backend services as functionality evolves.
Qualifications and Collaboration:
- Requires 3+ years of production experience with Go (Golang) to build APIs, with 5+ years for the senior role.
- Provide technical guidance, support other engineers, and contribute to technical discussions and code reviews.
- Ability to work 100% remotely from North America, with a commitment to team success and continuous learning.
