Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems using Java 21 and Spring Boot.
- Build and optimize REST APIs, work within microservices architecture, and manage builds with Gradle.
- Write and maintain automated tests using JUnit, Mockito, and AssertJ; ensure code quality with SonarQube.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Java development, proficiency in Java 21 and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Gradle, JUnit, Mockito, AssertJ, SonarQube, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, AWS, Logback/SLF4J, Grafana, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
- Strong understanding of security principles, microservices architecture, and DevOps practices; Lithuanian, Latvian, or Estonian citizenship required.
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience working on fintech projects.
- Familiarity with event-driven communication using Kafka.
- Knowledge of containerization and cloud deployment on AWS.
