Purpose:

  • The National Medical Outcomes Science Liaison, Oncology (National Onc MOSL) is a national field-based scientific expert responsible for engaging national oncology healthcare access decision makers (HCDMs) through credible, non-promotional, outcomes-focused scientific exchange.
  • The role integrates clinical evidence, real-world data, and health economics and outcomes research to inform product access and population-level decision making, evidence needs, and AbbVie medical planning.
  • The National MOSL represents an advanced level of the MOSL role, advancing field scientific strategies and serving as a role model to field medical peers.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced, customized communication of scientific, health outcomes, and health policy information to HCDMs and influencers.
  • Document and communicate meaningful observations which lead to Scientific Intelligence on a regular basis.
  • Identify relevant emerging scientific, health economic, and health policy trends and integrate gaps/learnings into functional strategy and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced scientific degree required (Pharm.D., M.D., D.O., Ph.D. or equivalent).
  • The position requires extensive experience in Managed Care, healthcare consulting, oncology pathways, pharmaceutical industry, medical affairs or related environment.
  • Advanced scientific and business acumen.
