Job Description

The Director, Government Affairs will report to the Vice President of Government Affairs and Patient Advocacy and will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with legislative staff, administration personnel and external organizations to achieve MindMed’s public policy goals. The candidate must have the ability to work in close collaboration with cross functional internal partners including corporate communications, HEOR, legal, regulatory affairs, medical affairs, commercial and market access.

Responsibilities include monitoring state legislation and regulatory activities, developing strategies to shape state policy, assessing the public policy environment, and maintaining strong working relationships with key state and regional stakeholders. The candidate must have 8+ years of experience in government, government affairs, public affairs, or policy/advocacy with extensive knowledge of the U.S. health care system.
