Regional Medical Director

The regional Medical Director provides cross- market clinical leadership and oversight, ensuring excellence in care delivery across Nest Health's growing footprint. As a key leader in Nest's clinical leadership team and reporting to the Chief Clinical Officer, the Regional Medical Director supports and supervises Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Pod Leaders and contracted physicians, driving performance in quality, patient experience, clinical outcomes, and value-based care. This role is essential to building scalable clinical operations that support Nest's mission of radically accessible family care. The Regional Medical Director will serve as a senior clinical leader responsible for ensuring that Nest’s interdisciplinary care model is delivered safely, effectively, and in alignment with organizational standards across multiple states. The role includes direct oversight of APP Pod Leaders and contracted physicians providing collaborative practice or virtual care services. The Regional Medical Director ensures consistency in clinical practice, supports performance improvement initiatives, and fosters a strong culture of teamwork, mentorship, and accountability. This role combines system-level leadership with on-the-ground support through ride-alongs, chart reviews, and periodic patient care coverage (primarily virtual). In addition to internal leadership, this role serves as a key clinical liaison for market and enterprise-level payer conversations, helping demonstrate value, discuss performance trends, and support collaboration between Nest and its health plan partners.
