Primary Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to a multidisciplinary team by developing computerized models and queries, and extrapolating data patterns using analytical methods.
  • Ensures contractor-developed databases and dashboards align or integrate with existing VA systems and datasets.
  • Coordinates closely with the contract support team and SCPO team members to ensure data products align with program objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) and at least three years of experience obtaining data through computerized models and developing visualizations.
  • Proficiency with Pyramid Analytics, Tableau, and/or Power BI.
  • Ability to present data findings clearly to non-technical managers and stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Five or more years of data science/analytics experience supporting a federal agency or large health care organization.
  • Direct experience with VHA data sources such as the Corporate Data Warehouse (CDW), VistA, or VSSC.
  • Relevant certification (e.g., Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst, Tableau Desktop Specialist, or similar).
