Responsibilities:
- Accelerate deals by responding to security questionnaires and resolving customer security concerns to close business efficiently.
- Provide security advisory to retain high-value customers and guide internal business operations on security best practices.
- Evangelize security expertise externally through podcasts and panels to enhance industry trust and customer security.
Leadership and Operations:
- Build and lead a high-performing Field Security team, fostering a culture of customer advocacy and security focus.
- Implement continuous operational improvements to handle higher volumes and increase process velocity for the team.
- Develop metrics and reporting to track team performance against SLAs and provide transparency into security processes.
Qualifications and Attributes:
- Possess 10+ years in Security Solutions, Sales Engineering, or related fields, with 5+ years of team leadership experience.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of frameworks like NIST 800-53, ISO, and SOC 2, with professional certifications such as CISSP preferred.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills for public speaking and creating external content, with an ability to collaborate across Sales, Marketing, and Engineering teams.
