Senior Technical Writer

As a Senior Technical Writer at Camunda, you’ll be embedded within product teams, taking full ownership of documentation for key areas of our platform. You’ll work side-by-side with engineers, product managers, and designers to ensure our documentation is clear, accurate, and deeply aligned with the product experience. This is a hands-on role supporting our AI products team, where you’ll become a subject matter expert, directly shaping the developer journey through high-impact content around agentic orchestration. You’ll be part of a collaborative, mission-driven team focused on helping developers quickly and joyfully become productive with Camunda technologies. The role involves owning and driving the documentation for one or more product areas, acting as the embedded technical writer within the corresponding product teams. You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to stay deeply informed about the product roadmap and ensure documentation is accurate, timely, and aligned with feature development. You will become a subject matter expert in your assigned product areas, developing hands-on experience with the products to create documentation that reflects real-world usage and developer needs. Lead documentation efforts from concept through release—planning, writing, reviewing, and maintaining content that empowers developers to succeed with Camunda technologies.
