Software Engineer II, Backend (Consumer Authentication)

The Consumer Authentication Engineering team provides a seamless account creation and access experience for Affirm customers. The goal of the team is to secure the assets and loans of Affirm customers by protecting them through several security and fraud levers. The team is responsible for account recovery, and management—balancing a frictionless consumer experience with strong protections against both accidental and malicious account takeovers (ATO), while meeting evolving regulatory and compliance requirements. We are looking for a highly motivated Backend engineer to work in the Consumer Authentication team on several key architecture and product initiatives. You will also be responsible for building optimizations through experimentation and improving the conversion metrics.
