Job Description
Lead and manage a team of backend engineers working on service-oriented systems that power our core shopping data infrastructure. Own team execution, delivery, and growth, ensuring projects are well-scoped, prioritized, and delivered on time and at high quality. Partner with technical leads, product managers, and other teams to align on roadmaps, dependencies, and long-term technical investments. Foster a healthy and inclusive team culture, supporting career development through mentorship, feedback, and growth opportunities.
Participate in system design reviews, architecture conversations, and code reviews, providing input to ensure technical excellence while advocating for clarity and maintainability. Champion engineering best practices, including testing, documentation, reliability, and observability. Act as a strategic voice in planning, balancing short-term product goals with long-term scalability and system resilience.
