Telehealth Addiction Counselor

Affect is seeking a compassionate Telehealth Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counselor to deliver virtual counseling sessions. The counselor will conduct intake assessments, facilitate group and individual counseling using Affect’s curriculum, provide crisis support, and maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system. Collaboration with clinical supervisors on treatment and discharge planning is essential, as is ensuring compliance with HIPAA. Applicants must be licensed in Washington. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite, EMR systems, and telehealth platforms. The counselor should be passionate about supporting individuals in recovery and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. A private, HIPAA-compliant workspace with reliable internet is necessary.
