The role:

  • Implement Storage Encryption Everywhere in Gecko, including schema migrations and PBM data storage.
  • Write Web Platform and Gecko tests, then land code through review and shepherd releases.

Required qualifications:

  • Strong C++ with browser-engine experience, ideally Firefox/Gecko.
  • Database expertise, web standards familiarity, and multithreaded debugging skills.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Prior contributions to Gecko or another browser engine.
  • Familiarity with standards bodies and specification processes.
