Solution Engineer

As a Solution Engineer, you'll guide technical discovery and solution design, partnering with the Sales team to drive pre-sales conversations, qualify technical fit, and uncover architectural needs. Demonstrate Ably’s power in action by building impactful demos and proofs of concept, showcasing Ably’s capabilities in a developer-centric way. You will shape the developer experience by being a strong advocate for developers, understanding their challenges and championing improvements across the product and documentation. You'll solve real-world architectural challenges by advising customers on topics such as distributed systems, event-driven architectures, realtime messaging protocols, cloud-native integration, and scalable infrastructure. You will also enable successful adoption by taking a hands-on role in early-stage solution design, ensuring customers are set up for long-term success with best practices. You would also collaborate across functions and create/share technical content.
