Key Responsibilities:
- Accurate assignment of ICD-10-CM and PCS codes for inpatient visits.
- Use 3M 360 Encoder HDM to streamline the coding/billing process.
- Create compliant physician queries and review claims for medical necessity.
Qualifications:
- 2-year degree or equivalent experience; AHIMA or AAPC certification required.
- Experience coding CABG, Ortho, and Med cases required.
- Proficiency with 3M 360 Encoder HDM required.
