Professional Coding Specialist II

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures using ICD-10, CPT, and modifiers for multispecialty inpatient notes.
• Complete coding, charging, and account abstraction within daily deadlines.
• Communicate with physicians and teams to clarify documentation.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current HIM/coding certification through AHIMA or AAPC required.
• At least 2 years of medical coding experience required; multispecialty physician office coding preferred.
