Director of Engineering

As a Director of Engineering, you will define the engineering vision, strategy, and roadmap to align with organizational goals and identify emerging technologies and trends to ensure the company remains competitive. You'll be expected to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, as well as recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing engineering team. Monitoring progress and mitigating risks to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery is important. You'll drive project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical deliverables. Preparing and delivering reports, proposals, and presentations to stakeholders is expected by clearly communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. You will provide technical guidance and career development opportunities for team members and guide the architecture design, and development of scalable, secure, and robust systems. Ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes is expected. You will oversee system integration, testing, and deployment whilst optimizing engineering workflows and implement tools for increased productivity.
