As a Staff Partner Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership across Commercial and Product Partnership teams, supporting large cross-functional programs. You'll represent Affirm’s engineering team and technologies to partners, while helping drive technical + business strategy. This role entails operational support for ad hoc partner requests, collaborating with engineering teams on solution design, and managing the execution of long-term initiatives.
The Director of Software Engineering reports to the Chief Information Officer and is responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of internal software applications, as well as modifications to external third-party applications. This position works closely with stakeholders to develop, implement, and operate systems that improve processes and support critical business strategies and manages technology-related risks.
The Sr Software Engineer works independently or leads teams of 2-4 people responsible for application design, development, testing, and problem resolution work teams with significant autonomy and independence, including system enhancements to major system projects. As an experienced developer and a beginning technical leader the position receives regular mentoring, feedback, and supervision by senior technical staff and management on team leadership skills.
The Director of Application Development will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of software applications that support our marketing solutions business. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, organizational skills and a deep understanding of application development processes.
