Job Description
Acting as legal point of contact (POC) for the company’s business in the UK providing day to day support and advice to the Europe and UK management team in relation to engagement with UK regulators, and the company’s preparations for authorisation in the UK. Leading the company’s response to ongoing investigations and enquiries in the UK. Leading on the management and handling of material requests from law enforcement agencies in the UK and Europe, as well as working closely with the Global Sanctions Lead Counsel on matters relating to sanctions, ABC and AML/CTF risk in the UK and EU. Assist in the development and implementation of legal strategies to support business objectives. Cultivate relationships not only with regulators and exchanges but also with legal personnel and other critical stakeholders across the business, adeptly developing networks and promoting Binance's interests. Advise on an extensive range of regulatory and legal issues that could affect existing and potential services. Interpret and anticipate regulations and legal requirements that could impact our business, steering management on necessary adjustments. Monitor and advise on legal and regulatory developments affecting the company’s operations. Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations and new projects. Develop and implement policies and procedures to minimize legal exposure.
