Job Description
This is an opportunity to work with a team dedicated to improving safety, accessibility, and mobility throughout New York City. The position will focus on incorporating proven safety treatments, including “hardened daylighting” at intersections to improve visibility for all users. Key tasks for this position include performing research and crash analysis to identify high crash locations and developing projects to enhance safety for all road users. The role also includes designing and implementing these street improvement projects and analyzing traffic data. The selected candidate will also be required to perform community outreach, including meeting with public officials, Community Boards, inter-and intra-agency members, and other stakeholders, as well as preparing and giving presentations to various groups.
