Position Summary:

  • Magpie Health Analytics is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design, build, and operate secure, trustworthy generative AI solutions.
  • The role supports healthcare clients in delivering faster, more consistent access to authoritative program guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop generative AI solutions that ground LLM responses in source documentation and implement document ingestion pipelines.
  • Design guardrails, evaluation frameworks, logging, and monitoring to support transparency and responsible AI oversight.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and deploy solutions within approved AWS services and federal security controls.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or related field with 5+ years of software and cloud experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and experience with LLM APIs, orchestration frameworks, vector databases, and AWS AI services.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and excellent communication skills for explaining AI to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting federal health programs, including FedRAMP, ATO, NIST 800-53, HIPAA, and responsible AI frameworks.
  • Familiarity with conversational or search interfaces, Section 508 accessibility, and relevant AWS certifications.
