SURJ is seeking an Administrative Assistant to coordinate with the NOD Director, Organizing Managers, and Organizers to ensure smooth and efficient department operations. A successful candidate will understand their own shared interest in organizing white people and be committed to SURJβs model of shared interest organizing and be willing to work in a collaborative, interdependent workplace. They'll be ready to play a critical role in supporting a high-impact team of organizers.
Primary responsibilities include scheduling, calendar maintenance, online event support, tracking, departmental communication, and logistics for in-person events. HR and admin duties include onboarding, hiring process support, and HR compliance. Must have 2 years experience as an administrative assistant and proficiency in Google Workspace. Strong relational and communication skills are required.
