Tech Lead, Software Engineer

Technical Leadership & Architecture:

• You will own and drive architectural decisions across the entire platform.
• You will define and enforce engineering standards for code quality, testing, and security.
• You will drive the AI-powered underwriting roadmap and lead the team in building intelligent automation.

Mentorship & Team Development:

• You will lead, mentor, and develop a team of senior and mid-level engineers.
• You will set the engineering bar and model excellence in clean, tested, secure code.
• You will foster a culture of psychological safety, continuous learning, and high accountability.

Cross-Functional Partnership:

• You will serve as the primary technical partner to underwriting, actuarial, and product leadership.
• You will partner directly with the CTO to define technical strategy and roadmap priorities.
• You will lead the team's contribution to the SOC 2 journey and manage external data provider relationships.

Execution:

• You will lead the design and delivery of production-grade features across the core insurance platform.
• You will architect and maintain reliable data pipelines for risk assessment and actuarial modeling.
• You will own CI/CD infrastructure, deployment reliability, and platform observability.
