Lead Bank Auditor

Responsible for assessing and evaluating the risk landscape / control environment of the bank through audit engagements / other advanced audit techniques, reporting to the Chief Auditor in the performance of all assigned duties. Primarily serves as Lead Auditor and main point of contact for the business, driving the completion of planning, fieldwork, and reporting of audit engagements and other activities timely and with high quality. Reviews work of team members, providing valuable feedback / questions for their development, when applicable. Provides guidance to team members on the use of audit business systems, applications, and / or audit tools to create queries and ad hoc reports. Identifies control weaknesses and process gaps for opportunities of enhancements in the current operating environment and developing recommendations for corrective action; prepare audit issues and audit reports for review by audit leadership. Reviews, analyzes, and interprets data collected from various sources to verify completeness and accuracy of data outputs to ensure valid conclusions are drawn from audit testing.
