Billing Specialist

The Billing Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting the organization’s revenue cycle operations. Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing, reviewing, and submitting claims to insurance carriers and third-party payers in compliance with regulatory and payer-specific requirements.
• Investigating, appealing, and resolving denied or rejected claims, ensuring timely reimbursement and minimizing revenue loss.
• Accurately recording and reconciling payments, adjustments, and remittances in the billing system, ensuring accounts are up to date.
• Identifying recurring issues, payer trends, and denial patterns.

-Partnering with clinical staff, patient services, and finance teams to resolve billing discrepancies and improve workflow efficiency.
