Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

About the Role:

• We are seeking an experienced full-stack engineer with a passion for social impact to help build a nimble, global emergency response program.
• You will design and deliver technology that helps nonprofit partners secure emergency housing and supports fundraising efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with product, design, data, and operations colleagues across every stage of product development.
• Envision and build new capabilities that help nonprofit partners arrange emergency housing.
• Develop tools that expand a global supply of free or discounted housing and support donation efforts.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong full-stack development experience with React and TypeScript on the front end and Java or Kotlin on the back end.
• Expertise in designing and scaling APIs and the services behind them.

Key Details:

• Remote within the U.S., full-time, Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week.
• Pay rate: $88 - $98/hour plus benefits.
• Duration: Approximately 10 months starting November 17, 2026.
