Staff Engineer - Platform Frontend

About the Role:

• We're seeking a Staff Front-End Engineer to architect and evolve our platform UI, the foundation all teams rely on.
• You'll own multi-quarter migrations, set technical direction, and stay hands-on with code across Vue 3 and modern front-end tooling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design failure isolation, release strategies, and runtime performance improvements using module federation and observability.
• Define and enforce metrics like Core Web Vitals, instrumentation, and CI quality budgets.
• Write proposals, review designs, and mentor engineers across the org to drive architectural change.

What You'll Lead:

• The target front-end architecture, sequenced into reversible steps with codemods and adoption metrics.
• The application shell, module federation topology, and design system implementation.
• The shared component library with APIs that are hard to misuse and safe to version.

Requirements:

• 9+ years of front-end development experience with expert JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Deep production experience with Vue 3 (or strong React/Angular/Svelte) and micro-frontends or module federation.
• Proven track record optimizing large-scale web applications and experience with build tooling like Vite or Webpack.
