Research and Policy Associate

The Conflict Analytics Lab at Queen’s and Deel Inc invite applications for a Research and Policy Associate. In collaboration with the Conflict Analytics Lab at Queen’s University, Deel Lab brings experts, technology, and data together to contribute to today's discussion around the future of global employment policy. The position will be under the supervision of Professor Samuel Dahan, Deel Lab policy experts, and industry partners. They contribute to the creation of legal AI technologies. You will work with the research team at Queen’s University as a Research Associate for 4-5 weeks or 160 - 200 hours to produce publications related to labor and employment laws, assist with the development of legal compliance technology, draft reports on legal doctrines, and consult on key legal questions in the dispute resolution process. You will also work with the Deel Lab’s experts and use modern research methods in legal and policy research to approach research problems and advances in various areas, in the context of the legal system.
